This project started with the installation of the caissons and foundations for the new 100’ tall naphthalene scrubber and associated pipe racks and miscellaneous equipment foundations. Next, new mechanical pumps, process piping, process controls, platforms, lighting, electrical power, instrumentation and automation controls for a new scrubber were installed. Equipment installation included 6 pumps, 2 wash oil coolers, and a wash oil separator. Piping systems up to 30" diameter were shop fabricated to the extent possible and assembled in place. Electrical and instrumentation included pressure, temperature and level transmitters, a main control panel, internal devices and valve controls to make the facility automated from a control room.

Bundle Cleaning
Catlettsburg, Kentucky

This project consisted of Blind to Blind cleaning of 100+ Exchanger Tube Bundles throughout the 165,000 barrels per day refinery. Bundles were extracted or cleaned in place and repaired as needed. Close coordination with plant operations was required to minimize impact on production.

Petroleum Scot Unit
Canton, Ohio

Installed total Scot Unit including all civil, structural steel, piping, pipe racks, and electrical and instrumentation.

Petroleum Facility Additives

Installed new tank, associated piping and pipe racks to existing truck loading facility.
